Bright debut of Kazakhstan Machinery Fair and manufacturing industry week

On September 22-24, the International Specialized Exhibition on Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking "Kazakhstan Machinery Fair" and the International Industrial Exhibition " KAZAKHSTAN INDUSTRY WEEK " were held in Nur-Sultan at the EXPO International Exhibition Center, bringing together the main industry exhibitions, forums and conferences in the field of mechanical engineering, mining and metallurgical complex, chemical industry, woodworking and furniture industry, production of building materials and water industry.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov, as well as members of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the official inspection of the exposition.

Breakthroughs in the field of industrial development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries were presented on the total exhibition area of 10,000 sq.m. 175 exhibitors from Kazakhstan, Russia, USA, Japan, Great Britain, Sweden, Switzerland, China, Denmark, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany demonstrated the latest developments and solutions in the field of mechanical engineering, mining and metallurgical complex, chemical industry, woodworking and furniture industry, production of building materials and water industry.
Among the participants: SaryarkaAvtoProm, Agromashholding, KLMZ, Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan, KazAzot, Tengizchevroil, Vericut, Mitutoyo, HEXAGONMI, ESAB, Grundfos Kazakhstan, QuantRobotics, Kazakhmys, Penetron-Kazakhstan, ArcelorMittal, Kulan Oil, KSP Steel, HeidelbergCement, Lamed, AMADA, Herrenknecht AG, Kazakhstan electrolysis plant, KELET, Almaty Heavy Machinery Plant, W&T Group and many others. 

Within the framework of collective stands, enterprises of the regions of the Russian Federation presented their products: the Sverdlovsk Region, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Udmurt Republic and the Penza Region. 

During the three days of the exhibitions, the exposition was visited by 2,380 professional visitors from 25 cities of Kazakhstan and 10 foreign countries (Germany, Italy, Austria, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, South Korea, Turkey).

Within the framework of the IX Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, a plenary session was held with the participation of members of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as breakout sessions on the topics of oil and gas engineering, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering technologies, agricultural engineering and electrical engineering.
According to Chairman of the Board of the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan Meiram Pshembayev, the special significance of the forum lies in the fact that a strategy for the development of not only the machine-building industry, but also the manufacturing industry of the country is being formed on its site, new mechanisms are being developed to provide machine-building enterprises with affordable raw materials and the development of local content. In his speech, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev noted that over the years of industrialization, more than 1,500 projects were put into operation, which allowed attracting over 9 trillion tenge to the country's economy and creating over 200 thousand jobs.

Within the framework of the business program, more than 25 events were held, including the conference "The state and prospects of the development of the chemical industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan", a meeting of the Kazakh-Austrian Business Council, a Republican meeting on topical issues and prospects for the development of water supply and sanitation systems of settlements, a round table on the development of the mining and metallurgical complex in the Republic of Kazakhstan, a meeting of the expert community "Self-regulation in the construction industry. Challenges and innovations".

The development of the manufacturing industry is one of the priorities of the industrial policy of the state. Holding annual events of this format contributes to creating the necessary conditions for technological development and increasing the competitiveness of Kazakhstani enterprises, expanding industrial cooperation with regional and international partners, developing export potential and attracting foreign investment.
