On September 8 in Almaty, the international forum Space Days Kazakhstan – 2025 kicked off, becoming a key platform for discussing the prospects of the global aerospace industry. The forum brought together leading experts and representatives of international space agencies, the scientific community, and industry leaders.
On the first day of the forum, the IV International Training Seminar and the ICESCO Aerospace Symposium on CanSat model satellites took place. The seminar was attended by more than 15 leading specialists in space technologies and satellite communications, representing major foreign companies, research centers, and international organizations.
As part of the forum, a job fair was held, where students and young professionals had the opportunity to directly interact with representatives of leading space organizations and learn about career prospects in the field of high technology and science. Key organizations of the sector took part in the fair, including JSC NC Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary, JSC Republican Center for Space Communication, JSC JV Baiterek, JSC National Center for Space Research and Technology, the V.G. Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute, the Institute of Ionosphere, and LLP Ghalam.

The exhibition featured photographs of the legendary cosmonaut, unique shots of his work in space, as well as a documentary about his professional and life journey. The event was attended by his wife Viktoria, children and grandchildren, colleagues and associates, as well as cosmonauts from Russia and Mongolia who shared their memories of Talgat Amangeldiyevich.
In addition, cooperation agreements were signed between JSC NC Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary and leading international and domestic partners, including Singaporean company ORBVIEW PTE. LTD, South Korean company Nara Space, and Kazakhstani company New ServiceArt LLP.
Within the framework of the forum, more than 10 workshops and round tables were held, involving over 50 leading experts in space technologies and communications. Key industry development areas were discussed, including modern approaches in education, promising space projects, the impact of space weather on technological infrastructure, the use of satellite data, international cooperation, and other pressing topics.
The first day of Space Days Kazakhstan – 2025 demonstrated the strong interest of participants in jointly seeking solutions in the fields of science, education, and innovation. The forum has become an important step in strengthening Kazakhstan’s position in the international space arena and opens up new prospects for future cooperation.
