RULES FOR VISITING EVENTS OF ASTANA-EXPO KS EXHIBITION COMPANY

Terms and definitions used in these Rules:

Exhibition event — a pre-scheduled event at which goods, services, and information are displayed, held within a specified timeframe and on a regular basis, as well as related conferences, seminars, round tables, etc.

Exhibition complex — a separate territory with buildings and facilities located on it and used for holding exhibition events.

Exhibitor — an organization or person presenting goods or services at an exhibition.

Exhibit — a tangible sample, object, or information presented by an exhibitor for public display at an exhibition event using exhibition equipment.

Exposition — the general space intended for the display of all exhibits by exhibitors at an exhibition event.

Event personnel — any official employee, volunteer, or third party appointed or engaged by the Organizer in the organization and conduct of the Event, including, but not limited to, representatives of security and public order services.

Visitor — a person attending the exhibition for the purpose of ознакомления with the exposition, discussing, and entering into business agreements.

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. These Rules have been developed to ensure the safe and comfortable stay of visitors.
1.2. The Rules determine the procedure for admitting visitors to the territory of the exhibition complex for the purpose of attending exhibition events (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”), organized by Astana-Expo KS Exhibition Company LLP (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”), and also establish rules of conduct for visitors at the events.
1.3. The attendance rules established by the administration of the exhibition complex where the Events are held shall apply insofar as they do not contradict these Rules.
1.4. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to these Rules at its discretion.

2. ADMISSION TO THE EVENT

2.1. To enter the exhibition complex and attend the Event, visitors must undergo special screening through turnstile groups installed in places designated by the Organizer and the administration of the exhibition complex, and, where necessary, a personal inspection, including an inspection of hand luggage and personal belongings (pursuant to the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 13, 1999 “On Counteracting Terrorism”, dated October 19, 2000 “On Security Activities”, dated December 30, 1999 “On State Control over the Circulation of Certain Types of Weapons”, and the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 6, 2021 “On Approval of Requirements for Organizing Anti-Terrorist Protection of Terrorism-Vulnerable Facilities”).
2.2. The basis for admission to the Event is a visitor badge in electronic or pre-printed form (printed independently), which may be generated after completing registration procedures electronically (filling out an electronic form).
As a rule, the badge contains the visitor’s surname and first name, and, if applicable, the organization and position represented by the visitor.
The badge is valid for the entire duration of the Event.
2.4. Media representatives shall receive a badge from event personnel after accreditation by presenting a journalist ID.
2.5. Transfer of a badge to third parties is prohibited. The Organizer or Event personnel controlling access to the exposition may verify that the information on the badge corresponds to an identity card or other document confirming the visitor’s identity.
2.6. Registration for attendance at the Event may be free of charge or paid.
The amount of the registration fee, the payment procedure, and the terms of payment shall be determined by the Organizer. Payment of the registration fee (if established) is a mandatory condition for obtaining a visitor badge and admission to the Event.

3. AGE RESTRICTIONS

3.1. Attendance at the Events is permitted for persons aged 18 and older.
3.2. By way of exception and for educational purposes, persons aged 14 to 18 may be admitted to the Exhibition and its territory, but strictly when accompanied by adults (over 18 years old) who bear full responsibility for the behavior of minors at the Exhibition and on its territory, as confirmed by completing the relevant acknowledgment form (Appendix No. 1 to these Rules).
3.3. The age restriction is обусловлено by the fact that the exhibits and materials of the Event are intended for an adult audience requiring a certain level of professional training or awareness, and also for the personal safety and health protection of visitors.

4. RULES OF CONDUCT

4.1. Visitors must maintain public order on the territory of the exhibition complex, adjacent areas, and the exposition where the Event is held, and comply with the lawful instructions of the Organizer and the administration of the exhibition complex.
4.2. Visitors are prohibited from:
4.2.1. Bringing into the Event venue any type of firearm, gas weapon, cold weapon, explosives, flammable materials, pyrotechnics, as well as poisonous, toxic, or corrosive substances;
4.2.2. Bringing in or consuming alcoholic beverages, narcotic drugs, and psychotropic substances at the Event venue, or being under the influence of alcohol, narcotic, or toxic substances;
4.2.3. Engaging in behavior inconsistent with the business nature of the Event and generally accepted standards of professional etiquette;
4.2.4. Committing actions that may threaten the property of the Organizer, Event participants and/or the exhibition complex, the life or health of persons at the Event venue, or hinder the security of the Event;
4.2.5. Organizing or conducting unauthorized rallies, demonstrations, marches, picketing, other unapproved promotional activities, flash mobs, or any type of trading on the Event venue;
4.2.6. Posting and distributing printed materials, posters, flyers, and other informational or advertising materials, or conducting advocacy activities without the Organizer’s written consent;
4.2.7. Touching exhibits with hands or other objects without permission from the respective exhibitor;
4.2.8. Leaving minors unattended on the Event premises; otherwise, the Organizer and/or Event personnel shall have the right to contact law enforcement authorities regarding an unattended minor;
4.2.9. Moving around the exposition on bicycles, scooters, roller skates, or similar transport and sports devices while attending the Event;
4.2.10. Begging, littering, polluting the exhibition complex and Event venue, or wearing clothes or carrying items/products that may dirty other visitors or exhibits;
4.2.11. Entering the Event venue with animals;
4.2.12. Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, inside buildings and in open areas of the exhibition complex where the Event is held, except in specially designated smoking areas.
4.3. If unattended items or suspicious objects are discovered at the Event venue, visitors must immediately inform a representative of the Organizer or an employee of the exhibition complex.
4.4. Visitors must familiarize themselves with the fire evacuation plan displayed at the entrance to the Event venue.
4.5. In the event of an emergency at the Event venue, visitors must comply with the instructions of the Organizer’s representatives and/or employees of the exhibition complex.

5. LIABILITY

5.1. The Organizer or Event personnel may deny a visitor access to the Event, or the visitor may be removed from it, in the following cases:
5.1.1. Absence of a badge issued in accordance with these Rules;
5.1.2. Refusal to undergo the screening provided for in clause 2.1 of these Rules at the entrance to the exhibition complex, including refusal to present hand luggage and personal belongings for inspection;
5.1.3. Attempt to enter the exhibition complex hosting the Event with prohibited items;
5.1.4. Commission of actions violating public order, as well as begging;
5.1.5. Failure to comply with these Rules and the lawful requirements of the Organizer, Event personnel, and/or representatives of the exhibition complex.
5.2. In the event of unlawful acts committed by a visitor, the Organizer, Event personnel, and/or representatives of the exhibition complex may hand such visitor over to law enforcement authorities for consideration of administrative or criminal liability.
5.3. Material damage caused to the property of the Organizer, the exhibition complex, or Event participants shall be compensated in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
